Another one bites the dust

One more pound down...

...I am glad that I lost something, but admit that I am a bit disappointed not to have lost just ONE ADDITIONAL pound so that I could be at my 5% goal and get my pedicure! (And yes, Misty, this will be my first EVER pedicure! I have heretofore been a do-it-yourself toe painter).

Oh well. 212.2 is the number of the day.  I will reach my goal next week, I will! I will! And then I will announce my 10% goal reward (warning: it will be TMI).
Cheers, everyone!

Congrats!! I am proud of you!

I had weeks when losing a 1 lb bothered me- then a friend sent me a pic of 5 lbs of ground beef (which was my total weight loss at that point) and it made sense to me! Picture ground beef! You lost that!! WOO HOO!

While your picturing the ground beef, picture me jumping around and doing the happy dance holding said pound of ground beef. LOL!

Well, the f'tard has not paid me in over 5 weeks. I am half way through the 6th week. As of this friday he will owe me 3 pay checks. I am coming to work daily for short periods of time. ONLY, because I can intercept the mail that might have money payments in it. The owner of the building was going to kick him out Monday, but he wussed out cause Dan, my boss, started crying. Yes, crying like tears and everything. Seriously, the dude is such a f'ing wimp I just want to beat the holy f'ck out of him.

The building owner asked me to stay on till Friday, hold out to see if we can intercept these checks and get as much of the money that is owed to us as possible. Over 6 grand to me and 4 grand to the building owner.

I called the department of labor and discussed all of it with them. They said, well if he has no mone, there is nothing we can do.

So I am basiclly f'cked up the a's.

Way to go!!! :) I love how you are looking at it smaller increments. That totally makes it more manageable! I'll have to try that too! :)

P.S. The profile I'm using here is for my new "secret" infertility blog. :) I moved that stuff over to a new address to keep some real life people from reading it. The address is: http://1000easystepstobaby.blogspot.com

I once lost 53 pounds. It took me about a year. I was on weight watchers. The one pound weeks, they add up. Yay for one pound! And yay for not gaining, or even staying the same. Tortoise and the Hare, and all that jazz.

Too bad they add up reversely too. I've since gained it back and debated on trying to loose it again, and food won. But at least I know I CAN do it again, if I want to. It's just really hard. Kudos to you!

Just wanted to say --- I'm so incredibly proud of you for losing so much weight already!!! YAY!!! As for losing only 1 pound this week, keep in mind that if you lose just "one lousy pound" a week and you do that for say - I dunno - a season of American Idol, you'd lose the equivalent of a quarter of a Back Street Boy. In other words, don't be getting down on yourself for 1 pound lost! A pound lost is a pound lost, and it's way better than a pound gained, which I've found can result from eating just one quarter pounder. How does that math work?

Love to ya!
